The booking system for academic staff attendance at the July 2012 ceremonies is now open. All academic and support staff are most welcome to join the platform parties for any of the ceremonies. You can see the programme, order your gown and check who else is attending at:
https://www.pmi.mmu.ac.uk/graduation/2012/mmugrad_staff_homepage.asp
Gown orders are free of charge up to 5.00 pm on Tuesday 26 June 2012. Unfortunately after the closing date any late orders are at private hire rates direct from Ede and Ravenscroft.
If you are new to the MMU ceremonies, would like to know what students need to do or you simply want to acquire some tips on a comfortable way to wear your hat and gown, please see the video 'preparing for graduation' at the above link.

We are improving the way we store MMU data and introducing new back-up systems to give us greater protection in future.
With a change of this magnitude many of our services will be affected so we will be making these changes late on Saturday night to keep disruption to an absolute minimum. We have also come up with some innovative ways to keep some of our key services up and running.
The following services will be unavailable on Saturday night from 9pm – 1am:
Home and Shared drivesMultifunctional printersBlackberry e-mail
Staff PC logins (you’ll be able to login to your usual PC but not others).
Web browsing, e-mail, Moodle and the student portal will all remain operational.
If you experience any other problems please contact the IT Service Desk on 0161 247 4646.
The Careers & Employability Service offers a fantastic programme of career development workshops and employer presentations to help our students maximise their chances of career success. The workshop sessions are crammed with information and practical tips, whilst our employer presentations offer students the chance to network, find out about job opportunities and what organisations look for in potential candidates.
Encourage your students to take part in the range of career development workshops and employer presentations taking place on campus next week:
