Join us for the ninth Innospace monthly business group on Thursday 15th September, to share ideas, talk to the MMU business support network and learn something new.
The Innospace monthly business group creates a practical and supportive environment for new and aspiring entrepreneurs to prepare for the launch of their business.
The theme of this month's workshop is to provide an overview of tax issues for the newly self employed, focusing on how to register with the HMRC, record keeping and business expenses.
This session will also take you through how business expenses and capital allowances affect your profit.
A representative from the HMRC will be there to take you through all the essentials, providing you with a sound understanding of business and tax.
Come along at 10am for coffee and join in the practical and interactive session on the theme of the month then stay and work with the MMU business support team on your business idea.
Bring along:
- an idea you are developing
- your plans
- your laptop (if you like to work paper free)
