Are we Manchester's cycle-friendly champ?

MMU has signed up to participate in the Greater Manchester Cycle Challenge.

This is a fun, free competition where companies and organisations compete to see who can get  the most people cycling.

 Ride anywhere anytime for 10 minutes or more between May 14 - June 5  - work or pleasure – and that will count to the MMU score.

Travel Team

Organisations and departments will compete against those of a similar size for a fair chance of winning, with MMU in the largest +500 employees category.The challenge is administered by Transport for Greater Manchester.

The  MMU Travel Team actively encourage staff to become involved in cycling.  Further information about free cycle hire, free cycle maintenance classes and free cycle proficiency training is available from Jason Smith in the Travel Team ex 2989 or cycling@mmu.ac.uk.
